To streamline the release of stipends and financial assistance, the Scholarship Office under the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) requires all new and continuing Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) beneficiaries, including those under TES validation at Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) – Main Campus, to open a LANDBANK PISO Plus account.

This directive aligns with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)’s recent partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), which aims to accelerate scholarship and financial assistance releases through a more efficient and digitalized disbursement system by addressing long-standing delays, enabling direct crediting to bank accounts, and streamlining transactions under programs such as UniFAST to ensure faster, more transparent, and accessible financial support for students.

Meanwhile, EVSUnista scholars who currently have accounts with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) are also required to open a LANDBANK PISO Plus account, while those who already have an existing LANDBANK account may simply upload their proof of account through the official submission link: https://forms.gle/EcN4ABtxMBJ9Mdbo7

The LANDBANK PISO Plus account can be opened free of charge through the LANDBANK Mobile App without the need to visit a physical branch.

Moreover, scholars must download the mobile app, fill out personal and financial details, verify their email and mobile number, submit the required documents, and upload a screenshot of their successful registration through the provided Google Form to complete the application.

In cases where technical issues arise, scholars may use alternative identification documents such as a barangay certificate, EVSU student ID, or other valid government-issued IDs, and those who receive only an “Application Received” status must still upload proof showing their application ID.

Furthermore, students are advised to ensure a stable internet connection, keep a record of their login credentials, and use “N/n” instead of “Ñ/ñ” when necessary during registration to avoid delays in the application process.

The completion of requirements will run until March 23, and grantees are reminded that no LANDBANK account means no release of benefits.
