Preconvention promotes camaraderie in BSA

Intending to introduce community camaraderie in diversity in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) – EVSU Chapter commenced it’s Preconvention 2022 at the Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium, Tuesday, November 21.

Anchored on the theme “Strengthening the JPIAN Community through Camaraderie in Diversity,” the freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior students participated in academic and non-academic activities.

The event was officially opened with a Message by the JPIA – EVSU Charter President Ms. Merriel Pamanian, stressing the importance of introducing stress-free activities to the students.

“Today, and the following days, we are going beyond our books and calculators. We will make our community stronger, more united, and more hopeful,” Ms. Pamanian said.

Several activities took place during the first day, such as the presentation of the Cheer and Tribe Dance, Creative Photography, Vocal Solo, Vocal Duet, and Your Face Sounds Familiar.

Jean Rose Dedace, a first-year Accountancy student, expressed her memorable experience as she said good feedback about the event.

“I really enjoyed the event, giving us memories and experiences we’ll surely treasure,” Ms. Dedace shared.

Events will follow the succeeding days in line with the organization’s celebration, with the Mr. and Ms. Ambassador of Goodwill 2022 being held on November 23, Wednesday.
