Eastern Visayas State University ranks 78th in the Webometrics Ranking of Web Universities’ Top 100 Universities in the Philippines

EVSU is 10659th in world ranking, 15873rd in Impact, 6635th in Openness, and 6830th in Excellence.

Three hundred sixty-six outstanding schools made it to the top ranked by the Webometrics. The goal of the ranking is to improve the presence of the academic and research institutions on the web and to promote the open access publication of scientific results.

Said ranking website primarily aims to promote Open Access to the knowledge generated by the University.

In its 18th year of publication, Webometrics is considered the largest academic ranking of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with analysis of performance even at the country level which includes more than 30,000 universities and colleges worldwide.

Webometrics algorithm utilizes rating systems sourced from prominent and remarkably well-known think-tanks (or policy institute) like Google Scholar, Ahrefs Majesticr, and Scimago respectively to ensure a meticulous and precise assessment.
