Global Esports completed a stunning reverse sweep over home bet Nongshim RedForce, 3–2 (11–13 Sunset, 2–13 Split, 13–10 Abyss, 13–5 Lotus, 13–10 Haven), to capture the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Stage 2 championship at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan, South Korea, Sunday, September 6.

Nongshim opened the series with a 13–11 victory on Sunset before dominating Split, 13–2, to take a commanding 2–0 lead.

Facing elimination, Global Esports responded on Abyss by building a 7–3 advantage before extending it to 11–8.

Nongshim threatened a comeback after cutting the deficit to 11–10, but GE secured the final two rounds to close the map, 13–10.

Global Esports carried the momentum into Lotus and quickly surged to an 11–0 lead.

Nongshim managed five rounds, but GE held firm to finish the map 13–5 and force a winner-takes-all decider on Haven.

In the final map, Global Esports built an 11–7 lead before Nongshim mounted another late push to cut the gap to one.

GE answered with the crucial rounds to secure a 13–10 victory and complete the 3–2 reverse sweep.

The comeback gave Global Esports its first VCT Pacific title and marked a historic milestone for the Indian organization.
