Aurora Gaming dethroned defending champion Team Falcons, 4-2, to capture its first-ever Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines title in the Season 18 grand final at the PhilSports Arena, Sunday, October 25.

The fourth-seeded Aurora squad completed its championship run after overcoming the odds to secure its maiden domestic crown.

The victory added another milestone to Aurora’s MLBB campaign, following its triumph at the M7 World Championship earlier this year.

Jan Dominic “Domeng” Delmundo earned the Finals Most Valuable Player award after delivering key performances with Chou, Kimmy, and Clint.

Aurora struck first in the best-of-seven series, with Kenneth Carl Tadeo “Yue” leading the charge through his Zhuxin’s precise skills and timely plays.

Team Falcons responded by taking control of the next two games, with SuperMarco’s Claude helping the defending champions move ahead, 2-1.

Aurora fought back in the fourth game, with Domeng’s Kimmy leading the charge to level the series at 2-2.

The squad carried its momentum into the next games, winning crucial team fights and shutting down Falcons’ attempts to regain control.

Aurora sealed the championship with a 4-2 series victory, ending its long wait for an MPL Philippines title.

The victory also secured Aurora’s place in the upcoming M8 World Championship in Istanbul, Türkiye, where it will represent the Philippines on the international stage.
