KUALA LUMPUR – The Philippines remains at the top of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world to prove that #PinasLangPinakamalakas for the fifth consecutive time.
Fnatic ONIC PH crushed Team Liquid ID in a one-sided 4-1 series to claim the M6 World Championship crown at the Axiata Arena in Malaysia, December 15, Sunday.
The reigning MPL Philippines Season 14 champions completed an undefeated run across the tournament, establishing their global dominance and further extending the Philippines’ global reign, which began in M2 (2021) and continued through M5 last year in Manila.
Gold laner Duane “Kelra” Pillas starred from the get-go, spearheading Fnatic ONIC PH’s commanding victories in Game 1 and Game 2 with his signature Bruno pick.
In the opener, despite Team Liquid ID securing early objectives—including the first Turtle and two turrets—Kelra turned the tide with a triple kill that dismantled the Indonesians’ strategy.
The Filipinos carried the momentum into Game 2, drafting a similar lineup with only minor adjustments. Kelra once again delivered a standout performance, leading a five-man wipe as early as the 6th minute, as Fnatic ONIC PH wrapped up the game in just 11 minutes, with Kelra earning back-to-back MVP honors.
Team Liquid ID adjusted in Game 3, banning Kelra’s Bruno and Super Frince’s Luo Yi while deploying Carmilla and Hilda picks that slowed down Fnatic ONIC PH’s offense. TLID capitalized on their roamer Widy’s pivotal play during the final clash, wiping out the Filipinos and securing their only win of the series. Kelra, however, was undeterred.
In Game 4, he shined on Beatrix, delivering an aggressive and calculated performance that pushed Team Liquid ID to the brink of elimination, as Fnatic ONIC PH overwhelmed their opponents with flawless teamwork to dominate every phase of the game.
In the decisive Game 5, the Filipinos controlled objectives, dismantled Team Liquid ID’s defenses, and delivered a masterclass in coordination and aggression to seal the championship.
With the M6 crown, Fnatic ONIC PH became the first team since EVOS Legends in M1 to complete a near-perfect tournament run. Kelra and his squad etched their names into MLBB history while solidifying the Philippines’ unparalleled dominance in the M-Series. Kelra, who was instrumental throughout the series, was named Finals MVP.
In an emotional post-match interview, he shared his gratitude to his team, saying, “Naging Finals MVP ako dahil sa kakampi ko, ‘di dahil sa sarili ko.”
The M World Championship is the biggest and most prestigious tournament in Mobile Legends, crowning the world champion each season.
Moonton also announced that Indonesia will host M7 in early 2026 to avoid overlapping with the 2025 SEA Games.
