To establish a collective identity and lasting legacy within the university, the Senior Class Organization (SCO) of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) – Main Campus, in coordination with the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), has opened the call for proposals for this year’s graduating class batch name.

In line with this initiative, students are encouraged to submit their entries through an official Google Form, where they may provide their proposed batch name, a conceptual explanation, and a corresponding theme or tagline.

Participants are also given the option to strengthen their proposals by uploading up to five logo design files, each with a maximum size of 100 MB, allowing them to visually represent and further develop their proposed batch identity.

The submission portal is accessible through the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdJr_AAODnZwvea83r3bnE9iqWKNiqrk4O7ajYrxhJbwQeNSA/viewform?pli=1

Meanwhile, EVSU-SCO President Shernan Vincito emphasized that the initiative aims to reflect the batch’s shared journey and the legacy they aspire to leave behind.

“Our main goal is to involve the whole batch, the whole students of EVSU – Main Campus, in creating a legit shared identity and a legacy of our graduation. By inviting everyone to suggest the names, it will help us to ensure the Batch 2026 name, not just only the name itself, but how it truly reflect, we, as a class, who were going to graduate this year,” he said.

Moreover, all submitted proposals will undergo a review and coordination process between student leaders and SASO officials to ensure alignment with institutional standards.

Further, the selected batch name will serve as the official representation and branding of the graduating class for commencement activities.

The call for submissions will run until the end of April.
