Students express enthusiasm in PCO Caravan

Students partake and enjoy the digital display and exhibition brought by the Philippine Communications Operations Office (PCOO) during their Community Caravan in connection with the 117th Founding Anniversary Celebration held at the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Inner Court, February 19. 

Students adjoined the different activities the office offered such as Konsyerto sa Palasyo (KSP) Campus Singing Audition, Live Broadcasting Technical Experience, Radio Broadcasting Simulation, Presidential TV Broadcast Simulation, and Photo Booth. 

“Maupay po it experience especially kay first time and first year pala ako, and thankful ako hini nga event yana,” College of Education (COEd) student Chrizelle Daa said, 

A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) student shared his experience regarding the event, saying ‘marisyo,’ a word he highlighted to express what he felt to the said event.

“Actually, nakakaenjoy hiya kay damot opportunites example, news casting tapos radio broadcasting, maeenjoy mo,” Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED) – Science student Ian Sumayod added.

Moreover, students from outside schools and universities also experienced the caravan while trying to join the celebration of the university’s Founding Anniversary Celebration and shared their experiences in the exhibition. 

The Communications Caravan will continue with its Open Forum, February 20.
