It’s not yet over, for every end of a journey marks a new beginning.

As Ms. Gabrielle Glenn Caidic ends her stint in the search for Mr. and Ms. SCUAA 2022 after failing to make it to the top 5, smiles of defeat did not take over the spirit she carried but rather a more eager determination of acing other arena, stronger and bolder.

The walk of prowess

With confidence and guts of victory, the queen hailing from Eastern Visayas State University, flaunts herself as she walk with elegance and fortitude during the coronation night of Mr. and Ms. SCUAA 2022.

Smiles of determination imprints her face in the production number, lascivious curves drowned the crowd in her swimwear competition, and sparkling eyes dazzled throughout her shining silver beads in gown during the barong tagalog and terno competition.

The steps to rocky road

For all journey comes with block of challenges that would fluster us between the pain of failure and lessons of defeat, it sometimes suck up our spirit to continue walking through the goal. It becomes misleading because we are drawn with the agony of losing and either make us rise up again or drown to the pit of defeat.

In this rocky road, Ms. Caidic stumbled and failed to rise up from the tough steps to the crown. With that, her journey to Ms. SCUAA 2022 concludes as she missed the top 5 spot. However, she refuse to get stuck.

The rise of a new journey

After falling off the top 5 of the search for Mr. and Ms. SCUAA, Ms. Glenn Caidic finished with confidence and prowess as she walk past with beauty and elegance leaving off a gaze of credence.

For her, missing the top 5 does not make her a failure, it made her see a different path that surely she would stand out and become the champion of it.

“My priority have already shifted from grabbing the title as Ms. SCUAA into getting the champion of volleyball women,” Ms. Caidic said

It’s like walking in a path that has a lot of stumbling blocks that transforms us to resiliency and perseverance. A struggles that teach us that failure does not mark the end of our journey. For Ms. Caidic, one journey might have ended but it does not stop her way to the finish line.

“My job to represent the school for the Mr. and Ms. SCUAA has ended but my role as the team captain of the university’s women’s volleyball continues,” Ms. Caidic emphasized

We came across with confusing track that either marks our bane or boon. The bottom line is we discover a new way to find the finish line. It’s like ending a page of your life, but offers you another story to tell. It could be another perspective of your life, or another journey with a different path to take. Surely, Miss Gabrielle Glenn Caidic finds another path for a journey that victory awaits.
