Everyone is vested a gift to showcase. Some have a gift of singing. Others are gifted in dancing. While, EVSU Eagles are gifted with both as they clenched a triple win in the Regional SCUAA Meet 2022 Talent Festival.

The gift of singing

It’s amazing how musically inclined people are able to read notes and sing it to perfection. Putting melody in every words, imbedding emotions in every tone, and placing magic curves and whistles in every melody. Harmoniously, these are mixed together to a magnificent song number which EVSU-Ormoc Campus pair made to ranked third in vocal duet competition.

Such gifts may come naturally but it is nurtured to get the best of it. Mr. Eldrich Manuel Sevilla and Ms. Michelle Aseo’s winning blend was actually practiced to extract the perfect combination to victory. It mattered with the effort to work together to get the best of their gift and reaps the spark of the shining bronze.

“Behind our victory was that we did our best and then with all our practices, we got the third place,” said Mr. Sevilla

Moreover, singing is about finding the right attack of notes to deliver. For all that notes matter, just like how Ms. Regelle Refugio hit high and whistled to triumph in vocal solo competition- clenching the shining bronze. Both category of musicality was finished by EVSU bet singers to 3rd place.

The gift of dancing

With the ability to groove in the beat of music and sway the hips in the rhythm, EVSU- TC Hip-Hop dance group rocked the dancefloor and moved swiftly to champions.

For they are driven with definite goal, they danced with bloc of unison, together, as they aim for the gold.

Such gift in dancing is a magic to every beat. As you move to interpret the underlying rhythm of a sound, you stir the aroma of winning and have to taste the sweetness of golden victory.

With all the talents given to EVSU Eagles, it was all nurtured and conditioned to reign the Talent Festival during Regional SCUAA Meet 2022. After all, talents should be showcased with practice and ultimate goal in order for that gift of to lead into a victory.
