Continuing students of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) – Main Campus continue to adhere to the enrollment process during the first week of the second semester enrollment for Academic Year 2023-2024, January 11.

On Monday, the University Registrar’s Office announced the enrollment procedure and gave reminders in submitting the Free Higher Education (FHE) Form to ensure a seamless enrollment procedure via their official Facebook page.

“Print two copies of the FHE form. Make sure to indicate the correct term as ‘2nd Semester, AY 2023-2024.’ Don’t forget to affix your signature and have your parents or guardian sign,” the Registrar’s Office wrote in their Facebook post.

Marian Joy Gullemas, a first-year student of Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd), recounted her challenges in obtaining the FHE Form due to website traffic on the student portal during the Pre-registration period.

“Medyo stressing gihap an process kay nakurian talaga ako pag-download han akon FHE Form ha student portal kay may website traffic daw. Pero maupay na la after how many hours, na-access ko na gihap an form, and I’m very glad na napasa ko na kanina an akon FHE form,” she said.

The said three-day pre-registration period ran from January 2 to 4.

Meanwhile, returnees and shiftees were advised to accomplish a Student Clearance Form which can be acquired in the Office of the University Registrar, further reminding the shiftees to inquire about available slots in the intended department for shifting.

In addition, the University Registrar’s Office also reminded students to avoid late enrollment as the schedule for the enrollment is fixed and cannot be extended.

“Walang karagdagang extension, wala nang paghihintay sa huling minuto. Ang schedule ng enrollment ay nakatakda, at mahalagang kumuha ng pagkakataon at alisin ang gawi ng late enrollment,” the Registrar’s Office shared.

The enrollment period started on January 5 and is scheduled to conclude on January 20.
