The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region VIII has officially granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) program of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) – Main Campus, issued Wednesday, April 30.

Signed by CHED Region VIII Director Maximo C. Aljibe, the COPC No. 16 Series of 2025 certifies that EVSU’s BSChE program meets the prescribed minimum requirements set by CHED. Said compliance authorizes the university to offer the program effective Academic Year 2024-2025.

Moreover, CHED clarified that the COPC applies only to the main campus and does not extend to any of EVSU’s branches or satellite campuses.
