Reminder: It’s okay than enough to take things slow today.
It’s been a long ride, isn’t it? You’re almost at the end of the school semester, the time to take your much-needed rest after such exhausting weeks is almost in grasp.
You’re almost at the end of it all. Yet, I know that this journey took so much of you, draining your strength with each wave and struggle you have faced. You’re so near to the day that you can finally lie down in your bed without having to hear the annoying sound of your alarm.
You’re almost there. And I know it’s been a tough ride. I know it was tough to continue the cycle of waking up every day and doing the same as yesterday’s. It was tough to dream high and power through the everyday hassles you constantly have to conquer. It was tough, and it still is.
But, time and time again, you pick up where you left off and face tomorrow with a smile on your face. You still go on and try. You still find triggers of hope in each day even with the wounds and scars you made. You’re still here.
For that, salute yourself. For the way you have been fighting your demons every day, for the strength it took to go with your head held high in the direction of your dreams. Shape a smile with your lips not for others, but for you who didn’t give up on trying.
Be proud! It was you who made things possible. It was you who took up the courage and walk on the road even with the uncertainties that lie ahead. You knew it wasn’t an easy trail from the beginning. And yet here you are, almost reaching the end of that journey.
Deep down, that end may not mean the finish line. For some, it may be a pause. Some may see it as a new beginning. But in whatever perspective it may be, one thing’s for sure, it is a destination of what our hearts yearned for.
You’re almost there. So, so close. It was undeniably hard to do so, but you dreamed it and you worked for it. For the doubts and fears you turned into reasons to push yourself to keep on walking, let this be a reminder to congratulate yourself for what you have done and for what you will do – bravely, and determinedly.
