Lando Norris claimed his second consecutive victory of the season after beating Mercedes pair Kimi Antonelli and George Russell in a thrilling Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort, Netherlands, Sunday, August 23.

Starting from pole, Norris held the lead through the opening corners before the race quickly descended into chaos.

Just one lap later, Max Verstappen lost the rear of his Red Bull and hit the wall heavily, forcing officials to red-flag the race as the home favorite retired.

After the restart, Antonelli made a strong move on Norris to take the lead and immediately began building a gap over the McLaren driver.

Norris stayed within reach, however, and gradually closed the distance as the race moved into its final third.

The McLaren driver then regained the lead from Antonelli, putting himself back in control with the race entering its closing stages.

Later on, a Virtual Safety Car appeared after Esteban Ocon stopped his Haas on track, prompting several drivers to make their final pit stops.

Antonelli took the opportunity to pit for fresh tyres, while Norris and Russell stayed out and held the top two positions.

Mercedes released Antonelli in second, but Norris kept his advantage and crossed the finish line 11.536 seconds ahead of the championship leader.

Russell held off the chasing Ferraris to secure third, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc followed in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Oscar Piastri finished sixth, with Liam Lawson taking seventh as the only Red Bull driver to reach the chequered flag despite a 10-second penalty for a yellow-flag infringement.

Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, and Pierre Gasly completed the top 10, while Verstappen joined several other drivers on the list of non-finishers.
