
Dr. Dennis C. De Paz was formally invested as the fourth Eastern Visayas State University President on Dec 3, 2021 at the Summit Hotel Tacloban City. But before that, during a dedicated day to honor and meet the President, the EVSU Community had a chance to know his humble beginnings as a simple obedient son to being the father of a famous university in Region 8. As the EVSU Community join the reminiscence of the president, some of the important people who joined his journey to triumph shared their experiences and impressions of him.

Dr. De Paz has been defined by many words. Some would vouch for his academic expertise and excellence and some would just admire him for the distance he made in his journey. Good or bad, these all lead to the man he is right now. His journey hasn’t ended yet but rather create a new path to bring all the people who supported him since the beginning and meet new allies to accomplish a greater mission – keep the famous university go forward and beyond.
