Dear Child
You are a seed of love
Bless by the sky and heavens above.
In my hands a little tot I hold
Kept you warm as blankets fold.
I slayed hours watching you
The view of you keeps me out of blue.
Seizing moments as you grow,
Witnessed many candles you blew.
You grow as a fine young one,
Found a lover and plans to settle down.
Pains is nothing when I was in labor
Compared to the pains as you leave the door.
My womb were once your home
And soon you'll make your own.
