EVSU – Main logs 4,614 freshman enrollees; COE posts highest count

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) – Main Campus has recorded 4,614 freshmen enrollees for Academic Year 2025-2026, the Office of the University Registrar confirmed on Monday, August 11.

According to the Registrar’s Office, the College of Engineering (COE) posted the highest number of incoming students at 1,223, followed closely by the College of Education (COED) with 1,158.

The College of Technology (COT) logged 958 freshmen, the College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) had 586, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) registered 531, and the College of Architecture and Allied Disciplines (CAAD) recorded 158.

The enrollment figures were released following the completion of the registration process in each college, with final data consolidated and validated by the Registrar’s Office.

Meanwhile, enrollment for continuing students remains open until Friday, August 15. Classes for the new academic year are scheduled to officially begin on Monday, August 18.
