In an era marked by rapid technological advancement, shifting societal values, and global interconnectedness, leadership has never been more challenging. And to become an effective leader, it requires a blend of agility, emotional intelligence, and strategic foresight.

But there are those who fear to take the leap of leadership – hesitations on the corners, and afraid to demolish the barricades of change. Gladly, we know someone who can, and will keep on embracing and adapting to change; one who wears the core values; and one who looks forward to the community’s success as he ventures the demands of the modern world.

He is a leader who faces a unique set of complexities and demands in the modern world, but also prime to seize the rocks and pebbles of his journey and become a transformational leader who fosters innovation, communicate effectively, build a positive culture, cultivate and develop global awareness, and a leader who navigates today’s dynamic and fast-moving world.

And as he carries on with the uncertainties of leadership, he ensures that his approach reflects of what his people needs to bridge the gap of the traditional wisdom and innovative thinking.

He embraces flexibility, resilience, and create a space where he encourages a growth mindset within his people and stay open to feedbacks to refine strategies and stay ahead of the shifting trends. The cornerstone he embodies may still have a long way to go, but his horizons will continue to inspire and impact others, and he will Lead with vision and with purpose.

He is the man of foundation, and the forefront of undergoing a profound transformation. He is Dr. Dennis C. de Paz, the University President of Eastern Visayas State University, and the man who dares, thrives – a contemporary leader who leads with his people.
