The Red Fierce Eagles’ ‘Real Ninjas’ cemented their perfect playoffs run, 3-0, after sweeping the Green Majestic Eagles’ ‘Ateliers’ and the Golden Kingly Eagles’s ‘HASHIRAS’ in the first-ever EsportsFest’s double-elimination Valorant Tournament, October 21.

The start of the tournament saw a disappointing 0-2 standing for the Blue Noble Eagles’ ‘ARGENTUM MAGNUS’ after losing to the Blue Soaring Eagles’ ‘Clout Chasers’ in Round 1 and subsequently losing to the HASHIRAS in the Lower Bracket.

During Round 2 of the tournament, the Ninjas felled the HASHIRAS, 13-0 on Ascent, to the Lower Bracket, where the latter were still in the running for a Finals run after defeating the Clout Chasers, who previously lost to the Ateliers, 4-13, on Haven.

Stakes were high in the Semifinals Round as the Ateliers lost to the Ninjas, 0-2, on Haven and Bind. However, Lenni Katherine ‘Efey’ Matillas’ leadership led them to facing the Ninjas in the Finals again after ending the HASHIRAS’ retribution run, 13-7 on Lotus and 13-5 on Haven, where John Vianne ‘N1chrome’ Holanda and Ryan Ashwed ‘CaesarSalad’ Apurillo displayed clutch performances to help their team secure podium finishes.

In their Finals match against their counterpart-finalist, Jasper ‘serizawa’ Hidalgo displayed commanding performances on Agents Jett and Neon, helping his team achieve a 13-5 and a 13-0 win on maps Ascent and Haven. His aggressive entries on high-mobility Duelists have helped clearing spaces and securing sites which proved too overwhelming for the Ateliers.

The Real Ninjas’ win is a first in a series of games we are about to witness during the EsportsFest as tournaments in franchise-games like Crossfire, Dota 2, Mobile Legends, and Call of Duty: Mobile are also underway during the Sports, Culture, and the Arts Festival, Wednesday to Friday, October 22 to 25.
