With the ongoing second-semester enrollment that commenced on January 5, students are still actively engaging in enrollment requirements in Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) until January 19.
It is recommended that students apply for the Free Higher Education Form, obtaining two physical copies for departmental submission.
Furthermore, students should be aware that pre-registered subjects might be forfeited based on slot availability, unless evaluated by the enrolling adviser. In case of schedule conflicts or unavailable slots, students are encouraged to look for alternative class that do not clash with schedule.
College of Education (COEd) enrolling adviser Ms. Nancy Lucero emphasized that communication with students prior to the enrollment helped them to have a more convenient process.
“We have communication on group chats para magprepare an kabataan na pagkanhi nira, ready na tanan na documents nira. So, pagtirok nala namon, so wala nang problem” she said.
Additionally, Ms. Lucero advised students to arrive early in order to secure a spot in their desired class schedule.
“Early lang mag enroll. They come early para maka avail hira han slot kay nagkakaubosan na kami hin slot,” she added.
Meanwhile, as students navigate the enrollment process, each has their own strategy for a seamless experience.
Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering (BSECE) freshman Nash Claridad shared his experience in having a seamless enrollment process.
“Nag pre-register la ak hadto han pre-registration period. Pag enrollment, kumadto ak ha enrolling adviser. Han naubusan ako hin slot ha usa na subject, namiling ako dayun hin alternative schedule na deri maconflict haak mga subject tas adjust la ngan okay na,” said Claridad.
A handy tip for EVSUnistas is to make regular visits to the portal, ensuring they stay informed about their enrollment status.
