Office of Research & Development and Extension Service (ORDExS) under the leadership of Dr. Analyn C. Espano, launched ORDExS Fair 2022 on August 18 outside EVSU Auditorium.

Said event, anchored on the theme “Valuing Partnerships with Stakeholders through Synergistic Research, Innovation, and Extension”, aimed to help promote local products through partnerships with local traders from different municipalities and cities in Leyte.

ORDExS Fair 2022 featured and exhibited local products such as delicacies, hand-made crafts, dry goods among others produced and manufactured by local traders.

Fe Arteche, one of the traders in the said fair and owner of Sabrina’s Delicacies, said in an interview that this kind of activity helps them market their products and widen their market rage through trusted partners.

Dr.Españo said that the event is a humble and kind gesture of gratitude for the contribution and help of stakeholders and partners.

“Now is the moment to tell them all that EVSU cannot be who and what it is today if it weren’t for them serving as scaffolds in building a robust community. That’s why today, on the ORDEX Fair 2022, we have this segment as our humble and kind gesture of gratitude,” she added.

Furthermore, Dr. De Paz said that they honor their stakeholders who made a meaningful impact in their extension programs and other relevant community-centered initiatives through the years.
