Students’ Association of Geodetic Engineering (SAGE) and Federation of Junior Marketing Association (FJMA) rose among the 18 teams to book the top 2 seats of the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Supreme Student Government (SSG) Organization Days Mixed Volleyball Tournament held at EVSU Inner Court on August 23.

SAGE won 30-28 against PATHESCO and 30-20 versus YES during the first Elimination Round of the tournament.

Additionally, SAGE dominated JPIChe with a score of 30-19 during the second Elimination Round which led them to beat PEACE LEAGUE 30-26 in the semi-finals of the matchups.

FJMA, on the other hand, destroyed AFHP 30-15 in the first Elimination Round of the tournament.

Furthermore, FJMA defeated IIEE 30-25 during the second Elimination Round of the competition leading them in securing their ticket to the finals by conquering CHEMSOC 30-19 during the semi-finals of the matchups.

SAGE and FJMA will battle head to head for the crown at the University’s Inner Court on Thursday, August 31.
